That really is his thing, though. He's honest and he doesn't know how else to live besides being himself! I mean, it's not like the meat-eating, bike-riding, masculine stage persona is fake or something--it's a part of him too, it's just that it's the only part that the public is interested in, you know? But the real him that comes out in his social networking, in his interviews, in the behind-the-scenes stuff with TOKIO where the whole of Japan probably won't be watching (because let's face it, the whole Japan fucking watches TOKIO x Arashi), you actually get to see him as a whole.
He loves his motorbikes and he loves flowing skirts, he loves growing beards and leather jackets and he loves putting make-up on and fluffy aprons--Tomo's literally just this harmony of masculinity and feminity, and he's living as comfortably as he possibly can while being a celebrity under the scrutiny of others. I don't know if I can say he's gender-fluid or something because it's not like his gender changes (and obv I'm just a fan who's only talked to him personally once or twice), but it's something like that? Except Tomoya's the entire fucking gender spectrum at once, and it's incredible. And sometimes when he talks on shows he switches from feminine to masculine pronouns, and that's also incredible. And when he talks about romantic partners he usually goes gender neutral, and that's awesome. AND IDK. He's just. HE'S SO GOOD.
